WrestleMania XL Kickoff in Las Vegas

On Thursday, February 8, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the WWE will host WrestleMania XL Kickoff at 7 p.m. ET. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Roman Reigns will face off at an open-to-the-public fan and media event and make the match official to the main event, WrestleMania. Other superstars involved will be Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley. The event will be streamed live with host commentators Michael Cole and Pat McAfee.

Only one official match is scheduled for the grandest stage—the Royal Rumble winner Bayley chose WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY to be her opponent. The Role Model surprised Damage CTRL with her Japanese language skills, resulting in her knowledge that she was being mocked. More will be developed between Bayley and SKY. Also, the Kabuki Warriors will be in action, but no opponent has been made yet.

Cody Rhodes passed on an opportunity to chase Roman Reigns and the undisputed universal championship. It is more likely that Rhodes will choose Seth Rollins, whom he has defeated four times, to be his opponent for the world heavyweight championship.

However, Rhea Ripley is the current world women's champion. She will presumably defend her title against Nia Jax at the Elimination Chamber. Bianca Belair is on the face of WrestleMania Kickoff across from Rhea Ripley. WWE Chief Content Officer "Triple H" may announce a match to have Belair earn a title shot at the Elimination Chamber against five other female superstars.
