King and Queen of the Ring
The WWE King of the Ring tournament has a rich history in professional wrestling. It's been a staple event since its inception in 1985. The tournament features single elimination bracket format with selected superstars. In 2021, the Queen of the Ring tournament was established to coexist with the men's tournament. It was once every year but now the WWE has it every two or four years. On May 24, 2024, the WWE will host a King and Queen of the Ring premium live event from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in the Jeddah Super Dome. Here are the following match cards:
On Raw, Gunther and Jey Uso will face off and on Smackdown's Randy Orton versus Tama Tonga. The winner from each brand will enter the King of the Ring finals.
Gunther vs. Randy Orton
Gunther wins the King of the Ring.
Lyra Valkyrie vs. Nia Jax
Nia Jax wins the Queen of the Ring.
Cody Rhodes and all of the WWE fans assumed that his next scheduled match would be for two titles. However, Logan Paul had his attorney draft a different contract that states only the WWE Undisputed Universal title would be on the line. The act troubled Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis. Rhodes took upon himself to agree with the terms.
Cody Rhodes defeats Logan Paul to retain the title.
Intercontinental Triple Threat Championship
Sami Zayn retains the title.
WWE Women's World Championship
Becky Lynch wins.
