Demi Bennett, b.k.a. Rhea Ripley in the WWE, will return to her home country for the WWE Elimination Chamber. She will defend her Women's World Championship against Nia Jax.
Born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, Ripley debuted her independent circuit wrestling career with Riot City Wrestling. She wrestled superstars like
Mercedes Martinez, Evie, Saraya Knight, and Toni Storm throughout her tenure in Australia.
Then, Ripley competed in the Inaugural Mae Young Classic 2017. She defeated Miranda Salinas in the first round but lost to Dakota Kai in the second round. Ripley has climbed the charts since 2018. According to Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI), Ripley is the top female superstar ranked number one.
